The
Fort is the first and finest resort Hotel at Nagarkot,
designed in traditional Nepali architecture, with its
carved doors and windows. The fort is spread over 6 acres
of dense verdant forest. Situated at the top of the
northern ridge at an altitude of 2000m it lies within the
ancient Fort Complex.
It
houses 15 rooms in the main building complex including 6
suite units and 14 rooms in individual cottages. A
restaurant, Bar, Lobby, Conference Hall, and Library are
part of the resort's other facilities.
The
Fort commands an impressive panoramic view of the
Himalayan mountain range spreading over a 300 km span from
Mt. Manaslu in the west to Mt. Everest in the east.
